Gallery K in Hampstead, is to present an exhibition of Mychael Barratt’s artwork from 1 May to 17 June.

The Canadian artist is well known for his witty art, and has prepared 15 oil paintings on wood panels for this new exhibition, Urban Myths.

He said: “Prints are accessible, they enable me to communicate to a large audience – but with paintings I can allow myself to be more personal.”

The artist picks up his inspiration from urban London life along with literary and art history references.
